STAR/PAL programs are offered off-site throughout the county as well as directly out of the STAR/PAL Youth Center in City Heights year-round. STAR/PAL's educational programs provide a collective focus on crime prevention, conflict resolution, the dangers of drugs and teenage drinking, sexual assault prevention, safety issues and much more. STAR/PAL's recreational and athletic program opportunities for youth range from sailing and fishing to sports clinics and summer leagues. STAR/PAL's athletic programs often engage novice players, introducing them to healthy, structured activities while stressing the importance of academic success.
